Video Works

During the last 10 years Hughes has made a series of video art works / small video vignettes. Often just a few minutes or less, these reject a number of standard film conventions by eschewing the typical templates of formulaic narration when thinking about the nature of waste. They offer intense observations of rejected matter, inert objects move by natural and unatural forces thereby presenting a sense of the aliveness of plastic waste.  Andy Hughes © 2019

Further video work will be online late spring 2021
